STATE COLLEGE – Unbeaten Penn State will be relatively healthy for its Big Ten showdown with unbeaten Oregon.

The bigger news involves Dan Lanning’s Ducks.

Oregon will have the services of talented running back Noah Whittington against Jim Knowles’ defense, per the Big Ten availability report.

The 5-8, 203-pound Whittington missed Oregon’s last two games with an undisclosed injury. He carried 14 times for 159 yards and two touchdowns in the Ducks’ wins over Montana State and Oklahoma State.

Whittington was a significant part of Oregon’s offense in 2024, carrying 118 times for 540 yards and six touchdowns. He also caught 24 passes for 136 yards and two scores.

Whittington ran for 82 yards against PSU in the Ducks’ 45-37 Big Ten title game victory last season.
