STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — Oregon moved up in the coaches poll after beating Penn State.
The Ducks are No. 2 with 1,559 points and six first-place votes in the coaches poll following their 30-24 double-overtime win over the Nittany Lions at Beaver Stadium.
That’s up from No. 5 with 1,442 points last week. A new AP poll comes out later Sunday.
Penn State dropped from No. 2 to No. 6 in the coaches poll, giving Oregon the best win in the country.
Oregon (5-0, 2-0 Big Ten) return home for a bye week before hosting No. 3 Indiana (5-0, 2-0) on Oct. 11.
