CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- The Heritage Village of the Southern Finger Lakes held its annual Heritage Festival on Saturday.
The event featured blacksmithing demonstrations, presentations inside an old school house, candle making and more.
Organizers say the festival was a learning experience for children of all ages.
"It's a chance for them to experience something that is really being lost to history. It's incredible because we have so much talent here in our region, people practicing historical crafts and trades. It's great to see families come out and get interactive hands on experiences," said Casey Winston, President of the Heritage Village of the Southern Finger Lakes.
