Locally, a frontal boundary coupled with abundant tropical moisture will continue to keep rain and storms in play through Sunday. This remains independent of any tropical activity. Some areas may see localized flooding from heavy rainfall.

Tropical Depression Nine holds steady as the system begins to slowly move away from Cuba. As of 5 PM, maximum sustained winds are 35 mph, with higher gusts.
