COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - No. 9 Texas A&M needed enough offense to overcome a stout Auburn defensive front and an onslaught of offensive penalties to ultimately move to 4-0 on the season with a 16-10 win over Auburn Saturday in Kyle Field.

Why did Texas A&M win? The Aggies’ rushing game finally found its stride after three weeks of being an afterthought in the offensive scheme.

For the first time since the first half of the Utah State game, the Aggies tallied more rushing yards than passing in both the first and second quarters. LeVeon Moss’ rush of 38 yards and Rueben Owens’ of 33 yards both set new high marks for rushing plays on the season, passing the previous high mark of 30 set by Owens against UTSA.
