NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Scattered showers and storms will continue overnight tonight and into Sunday morning. Cloudy skies could bring a lighter, steadier rainfall. Areas that see sunshine will have a better chance of seeing heavier rain in the afternoon. Again, widespread showers and thunderstorms will develop by Sunday afternoon, including a better chance for heavier rain in the Albuquerque Metro. The heaviest rain on Saturday will likely fall in north-central New Mexico down to south-central parts of the state. High temperatures will be below average statewide on Sunday afternoon.
