Widespread showers and thunderstorms developed this afternoon and evening with multiple flash flood warnings and severe thunderstorm warnings across the state. These showers and storms will continue into the early morning hours of Monday, mostly dissipating by sunrise.

Drier and warmer weather starts moving into New Mexico on Monday, but a few isolated storms are still likely. Storm chances diminish quickly starting Tuesday as we likely see the end of this year’s monsoon season. Dry and warmer weather will stick around into the beginning of October.
