PLAINFIELD, Ind. — Officials say a car crashed into a residential home in Plainfield Friday night.

According to a release from the Brownsburg Fire Territory , around 10 p.m. on Sept. 26 first responders were called to assist the Plainfield Fire Territory after a car reportedly crashed into a house.

When firefighters arrived on scene, Plainfield and Brownsburg first responders immediately began constructing and deploying T-Shorts to help stabilize the compromised buildings.

"These shores were essential in preventing further collapse and ensuring the safety of both responders and occupants during the incident," the release read in part.

Officials did not specify if there were any injuries from the crash.
