OXFORD, Miss. – LSU football took a few deep shots against Ole Miss on Saturday, Sept. 27.

On one specifically in the middle of the third quarter, Tigers senior quarterback Garrett Nussmeier reared back and launched a throw from the Ole Miss 39 down to senior speedster Chris Hilton , who was streaking down toward the end zone.

Nussmeier's pass was underthrown by a number of yards but Hilton was able to draw a pass interference call. Three plays later, LSU settled for a 39-yard field goal that trimmed the Rebels' lead to seven. Ole Miss went on the win the game 24-19 for its third straight Magnolia Bowl win over LSU at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. LSU TIGERS FALL ON ROAD TO OLE MISS
