WACO, Texas (KWTX) – A 25-year-old man accused of stealing a car and running over a woman was arrested, according to the Waco Police Department.

According to police, a vehicle was reported stolen earlier in the day in the 4000 block of Bosque Boulevard.

Investigators said the suspect approached a woman as she was getting into her vehicle, pulled her from the car, and ran over her as he drove away.

Police said they received another report about the same stolen vehicle in the 1600 block of North Valley Mills Drive around 7 p.m.

When officers arrived, they ordered the man inside the vehicle to come out, but he did not comply. Police then used an agent to enter the vehicle to remove him.
