Days after being on the run, Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, a spiritual leader and former director of a management institute facing allegations of sexual harassment and fraud, was finally arrested at 3:30 am on Sunday from a hotel in Agra.
Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati , who served as the director of the Sri Sharada Institute of Indian Management-Research in Delhi, went into hiding after more than 15 women students studying in the institute accused him of abusive language, unwanted physical contact, and sending obscene messages .
Following these grave allegations, the Sri Sringeri Math administration relieved Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, also known as Parthasarathy, from his post as director and the police issued a Look-Out Notice to prevent him from fleeing the country.
