MINNEAPOLIS — The Minneapolis Police Department is investigating after a man was fatally struck while crossing Franklin Avenue on Saturday afternoon.
Officers were called to a crash at Franklin Avenue East and Cedar Avenue South just after 3 pm., where they found a man who had been struck by two vehicles, according to the MPD.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the MPD, early information suggests the man was crossing Franklin Avenue "mid-block" when he was struck by a bus and a white sedan.
Both drivers were cooperative with the investigation, and no citations were issued, according to the release.
