HURRICANE HUMBERTO:
Hurricane Humberto continued it's rapid intensification and strengthened into the season's 2nd category 5 hurricane Saturday afternoon. Advertisement
The powerful storm now has winds of 160 mph making it a powerful catergory 5 storm, and is moving northwest at 13 mph. Thankfully, Humberto, will stay out to sea.
The hurricane is forecast to track northwestward before turning north, then northeast heading in between the East Coast and Bermuda next week.
IMPACTS :
Bermuda: Rough seas, swells, and rip currents possible.
U.S. East Coast & Atlantic Canada: Large swells and dangerous rip currents likely from Florida through the Carolinas and northward into Atlantic Canada this weekend into next week.
Louisiana and Gulf Coast: None.
