Andrew Johns has shut down concerns over Adam Reynolds, but did admit the star halfback could be 'rusty' in his return from a hamstring injury.
The captain has been named at halfback after spending six weeks on the sidelines and will need to be at his best for Sunday's preliminary final against Penrith.
Given his age and injury history, plenty have questioned how Reynolds will perform.
"Absolutely there is a chance [of being rusty], playing that position off the back of six weeks out," Billy Slater said on Nine's Sunday Footy Show.
Johns however believes the 35-year-old's experience will hold him in good stead.
"You can lose your feel a little bit when of when to put the pedal down," he said.
