BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) -- The Alabama Symphony Orchestra is hosting a free concert at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
The 28th annual Symphony in the Gardens event will start at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 28. The concert is organized by Symphony 30, a volunteer organization that supports the Alabama Symphony Orchestra's community and education initiatives.
Guests are invited to bring blankets, chairs and picnics to the concert. Children's activities like face painting will also be featured.
