BRAMPTON — Caden Taylor's power-play goal at 16:14 of the second period snapped a 2-2 deadlock and lifted the visiting Peterborough Petes to a 4-2 Ontario Hockey League victory over the Brampton Steelheads on Saturday.
Leon Kolarik and Francis Parish each had a goal and an assist for the Petes, while Carson Cameron also scored. Braydon McCallum chipped in with two assists for the visitors, who outshot the Steelheads 34-32.
Kieran Witkowski and William Eggleton scored for the Steelheads, who were tied 1-1 after the first period but trailed 3-2 heading into the third.
The Steelheads were 0-for-3 on the power play, while the Petes went 1-for-6.
