AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Lone Star Conference play continued for both the West Texas A&M Lady Buffs and the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds’ volleyball teams on Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Buffs were able to bounce back after a tough loss in five sets Friday, getting the sweep over Texas A&M International Saturday (25-22, 25-14, 25-17).

Currie Marusak led the team in kills (13), Miranda Acosta led in digs (7), Parker Gladhill led in blocks (5), and Hannah Pemberton led in assists (21).

WT is now 1-1 in conference play and 9-4 overall.

The Greyhounds weren’t as lucky as the Lady Buffs, getting swept by Texas A&M-Kingsville on the road (20-25, 18-25, 13-25).
