Kochi: Archbishop Mar Joseph Pamplany of the Thalassery Archdiocese has strongly demanded immediate government intervention in the ongoing atrocities against Marthoma Bhavan. Speaking after visiting the monastery, the Archbishop condemned the encroachments and hostile actions targeting the institution, stressing that they amount to a blatant violation of law and order.

According to him, the land that has been under the ownership and stewardship of Marthoma Bhavan for over four decades is now facing unlawful intrusions. “Such encroachments not only challenge the rights of the Church but also undermine the very spirit of justice. The priests and nuns residing here must be given complete security and justice without delay,” he emphasized.
