Facing poor internet connectivity and software glitches, the Dakshina Kannada district administration will soon conduct camps to speed up the social and educational survey being carried out by the Karnataka State Commission for Backward Classes.

Enumerators engaged in door-to-door data collection said weak network coverage in rural areas and frequent software crashes were hampering updates, even after visiting several households. In some cases, families in Mangaluru city refused to share details, further slowing progress.
