HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The U.S. Coast Guard has suspended two separate searches for two men who went missing off Kauai.

Bryson Higashi, 44, was last seen at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Hanalei area.

Kyle Barrett, 37, was last seen at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday near the entrance to the Queen’s Bath trailhead.

The two cases are not connected, but the search efforts were conducted in the same general vicinity, the Coast Guard said.

USCG said they searched over 3,200 square nautical miles for over 127 combined hours for both individuals.
