Jammu, Sept 28: Border Security Force (BSF) troops launched a search operation on Sunday morning after movement of a suspected Pakistani drone was reported along the International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district, officials said.

The drone was sighted hovering over Karalian village in the Ramgarh sector around 6.30 am before it disappeared, they added.

Immediately after the sighting, BSF personnel carried out a search in the village and adjoining areas to rule out any airdropping of arms or narcotics from across the border.

The operation was still underway when reports last came in, according to officials. (Agencies)
