Srinagar, Sep 28: In a significant security success, joint forces of the Indian Army and Border Security Force (BSF) on Sunday foiled an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district, killing two terrorists.
Sources confirmed that the infiltration attempt took place in the Keran sector, a known hotspot along the LoC. Troops detected suspicious movement and swiftly launched an anti-infiltration operation. The operation is still underway, with additional details yet to be officially released.
This latest encounter comes amid heightened alertness along the borders, especially after the suspension of Operation Sindoor, which has now transitioned into a broader, more aggressive counter-terrorism strategy.
