PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Every year, fall colors bring folks to Aroostook County and put our area of Maine on the maps at the state and Federal level, according to the Northern Maine Development Commission. Tourism officials say Saint John Valley—especially along the Fish River National Scenic Byway—is shaping up to be one of the best viewing areas this season.
“They’ve had a good amount of rain this summer, and the trees are in good shape,” says Jacob Pelkey, Tourism Developer at Aroostook County Tourism.
