THE Kansas City Chiefs face being without a key player for Sunday crunch showdown with the Baltimore Ravens.

Andy Reid's side have lost two of their three games to open the 2025 season.

And they face the prospect of falling to 1-3 if they lose to the Ravens .

One of their key players, Chris Jones, was dealing with some tough personal news ahead of the game.

The Chiefs announced Saturday night that he was being added to the injury report.

Jones was listed as having a "non-injury related - personal" problem.

CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson shared an update later Saturday.

She wrote, "Update on DT Chris Jones.

"Chiefs added him to the injury report with no game status designation because he is attending a family funeral.

"They expect him to be back in time for the game."
