After a night of rain showers, Sunday morning is expected to break out with sunshine, warm temperatures and a bit of humidity.

Clouds are expected to give way to increasing sunshine from the western to eastern part of the state, with temperature highs around 80 to 85 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures in the South Coast area are expected to be cooler, in the mid-upper 70s.

Clear skies and light to calm winds are expected in Massachusetts on Sunday night, with temperatures dropping into the 50s, with some upper 40s possible in the Connecticut Valley.

Patchy late-night fog may develop as well.

Monday and Tuesday are expected to be warm as well, although less humid.
