JACKSON, MI -- The Jackson County Animal Shelter, 3770 Spring Arbor Road, has many pets available for adoption.

Here are two of them.

Adidas is a 5-year-old German Shepherd mix that is mostly tan colored and weighs 58 pounds.

He was brought in as a stray who is sweet but can be timid. Adidas is not a jumper or barker. He knows some basic commands and learning to walk nicely on the leash.

Adidas is good with other dogs, he gets excited and thinks they are all his best friend. He was scared of a kitten, but he may not have ever been exposed to cats. Adidas would love to be part of your family and enjoy a fenced yard.

Fiona is a 4-month-old solid black kitten that was surrendered by her owner. She has a great purr motor and will come to greet you.
