Strictly Come Dancing's professional dancer, Amy Dowden, has candidly discussed the possibility of becoming a mum for the first time with her husband Ben Jones, revealing how her health struggles have significantly affected her fertility.

The Welsh starlet, known for her dancing skills on Strictly, has recently been in the spotlight due to her courageous fight against cancer. Amy was diagnosed with Grade three breast cancer in May 2023, after initially finding a lump a month prior.

Following a mastectomy and chemotherapy, she chose to undergo fertility treatment, as the cancer therapy suppressed her hormones and triggered early menopause for the dancer.

After completing her treatment, Amy received the all-clear from breast cancer in February 2024, reports Wales Online .
