A crash on the City Bypass has led to delays of around 45 minutes on the off-slip junction at Baberton Junction.

The incident was first reported by Traffic Scotland at around 12.25pm on Sunday September 28 which initially led to a partial closing of a westbound lane.

The disruption caused by the collision is understood to have been cleared however motorists have been warned to expect severe delays 'on approach.'

In an update at 1.40pm, Traffic Scotland shared on X: "All lanes have now reopened on the Edinburgh City Bypass westbound towards Baberton, but severe delays of 45 minutes remain on your approach."

Those planning on travelling along the route have been advised to check ahead before departing or use alternative routes.
