Agartala, 28 th September 2025: The Health and Family Welfare Department of the Tripura government has informed the public that all outpatient departments (OPDs) under its jurisdiction will remain open on select days during the upcoming ten-day stretch of public holidays.

From 27 September 2025 to 6 October 2025, the state will observe consecutive public holidays, including the fourth Saturday, Sunday, Mahasaptami, Mahashtami, Mahanavami, Bijoya Dashami, two additional holidays, Sunday, and Lakshmi Puja. Despite these holidays, the OPDs of all government health institutions will operate as usual on 29 September 2025 (Mahasaptami), 1 October 2025 (Mahanavami), and 4 October 2025 (additional holiday).
