Nestled between trees and houses in a small Lancashire village, a small graveyard with just a few memorials can be found.
One of the graves belongs to a three-year-old named John, the son of Joseph and Peggy Walmsley, who passed away in April 1975. John was later joined by Issac, another of the couple's sons who tragically died at just six-months-old in 1804.
The couple endured further heartbreak in 1816 when their 19-year-old daughter Hannah passed away. The gravestone reveals that mother Peggy passed away in 1839 at the age of 73, and her husband Joseph followed ten years later, aged 82.
