CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Police are currently conducting a death investigation at the Charlotte Airport after finding a body in the landing gear, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
Around 9 a.m. on Sunday, airport officials said they found someone hiding in the landing gear and was pronounced dead by officers.
The body was found while performing maintenance on an American Airlines plane that had recently arrived from Europe.
No other details have been released on the investigation. Queen City News reached out to airport officials to learn more.
