The Army Training Command (ARTRAC) commenced its 35th Raising Day in Shimla by organising various programmes, including a “Run for Excellence”, a blend of music, fitness and community engagement.

ARTRAC observes the Raising Day on October 1 every year.

The iconic Ridge Maidan came alive with a captivating performance by the Indian Army Symphony Band. The premier ensemble enthralled the audience with a wide repertoire ranging from military tunes to Bollywood numbers.

Lieutenant General Devendra Sharma, PVSM, AVSM, SM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, ARTRAC, felicitated the band after the performance.
