LYON COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - A western Kentucky man is in custody following an investigation.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office said on September 20, it began looking into a report of a man accused of soliciting a 12-year-old child for obscene pictures.

On Thursday afternoon, September 25, Chief Deputy Sam Adams arrested 48-year-old David E. Peek of Eddyville in connection with the investigation.

Peek was charged with procurement or promoting use of minor by electronic means, and is currently being held at the Crittenden County Detention Center.

This investigation is ongoing, and the sheriff’s office said additional charges are possible.
