Here are 10 snap judgments from Week 6 of the high school football season:
∎ Decatur Central has another offensive weapon. I will have more on this in Monday’s column but Decatur Central has another speedy offensive threat in senior Braylon Morris. The starting safety moved into the quarterback role when starter Bo Polston was injured at the end of the season opener against Avon and hit the ground running – literally. The lightning quick Morris ran for 97 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries in Decatur Central’s 37-19 win over Class 5A No. 3 Plainfield . Even as Polston returns, there is a place for Morris (460 rushing yards, eight TDs) to add another element to the Hawks’ offense.
