In one of the most iconic India-Pakistan matches of all time, India secured a famous win by 5 wickets over Pakistan to win the Asia Cup title for the record-extending ninth time. In the Asia Cup 2025 final played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, India chased down the target of 147 runs in 19.4 overs. Left-handed batter Tilak Varma, who came out to bat at No. 4, scored an unbeaten half-century (69 from 53 balls) to seal the deal for the Men in Blue after they lost their top three batters for 20 runs in just four overs.

Tilak, who is the world No. 3 T20I batter, added 57 runs for the fourth wicket with Sanju Samson (24) and 60 runs from 40 balls for the fifth wicket with Shivam Dube, who made 33 runs from 22 balls.
