An NFC East rival might be without its biggest star when the Eagles come to town.
Malik Nabers, the New York Giants’ star wide receiver, was carted off with an apparent leg injury during the first half of Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Nabers came down hard on the MetLife Stadium turf after leaping in the air to try to make a catch. Teammates came onto the field to check on Nabers, who was in obvious pain.
There has been no official word on his injury, but many fear an ACL tear.
#Giants Malik Nabers - concerning for ACL
The foot is planted in turf, the knee bends inward, internally rotates, and has a sudden jolt just before he goes up
If it is an ACL, yes the artificial turf does contribute to the risk for that injury pic.twitter.com/15bgpbchPS — Deepak Chona, MD.
