A West Lothian butchers has slammed 'lowlifes' for allegedly stealing items from their shop during a power cut.
David Stein Butchers Blackburn store was said to have been raided on Saturday, September 27 while staff did their utmost to meet customers needs after a loss of power.
Taking to social media, the business which also operates a Bathgate location, claimed a number of products were taken amidst the 'confusion.'
They condemned the behaviour and asked locals to be vigilant of anyone selling stolen items in the area.
"Big thank you to the team today continuing to serve our customers even though all power was off well done,", they said in a Facebook post.
"However some lowlife jumped in and used the confusion to make off with a whole pile of our groceries washing powder and hou
