An East Lothian RNLI team will appear on the BBC's 'Saving Lives at Sea' next week.
The crew out of North Berwick will see their attempts to rescue an elderly casualty with a broken leg on a remote beach documented on the show.
They will also appear on Scotland's Landward where the crew will take presenter out onto the water to learn about a rise in paddle board rescues off the east coast of Scotland.
The Saving Lives at Sea episode will air on BBC Two at 8pm on Thursday October 2 with Scotland's Landward following closely after at 8.30pm on BBC Scotland.
