DETROIT — The Browns have gone to Dillon Gabriel at quarterback in the fourth quarter of their game against the Detroit Lions .
The rookie replaces starter Joe Flacco, who was 16-of-34 for 184 yards with two interceptions and a fumble. The Browns trailed 34-10 at the time Gabriel came in.
Gabriel will be making his second appearance in the NFL. The third-round pick in April's draft made his debut on the final Cleveland possession in its Week 2 loss at the Baltimore Ravens , Buy Cleveland Browns tickets
Gabriel has completed all three of his passes for 19 yards. He threw a touchdown pass to running back Dylan Sampson.
