Kadyn Proctor’s performance against Georgia was about so much more than his catch.
That’s the highlight and the most memorable play . But that was only one play. He affected the outcome of Alabama’s 24-21 victory in plenty of other ways.
He held up in pass protection on the road. He made blocks downfield. He lived up to the billing that makes him one of Alabama’s top draft prospects .
He’s come a long ways since his performance in the opener against Florida State. That day, he allowed six pressures (one sack, two hits and three hurries) as well as picking up one penalty, per Pro Football Focus. No other offensive lineman allowed more pressures that day.
“I didn’t play good at all,” Proctor said of the FSU game. “I got people talking about I’m not playing to the level of my ability.
