SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The Minnesota State Moorhead women's soccer team was unable to find the opposing net in an NSIC road loss to Sioux Falls on Sunday.
The Dragons were blanked 5-0, dropping their fourth match in the last five contests.
Sadie Hunter netted two goals for the Cougars, with two more coming from Kate Stratman and Mariah Siem. MSUM also gave up an own-goal in the first half.
Sioux Falls led 3-0 at halftime.
The Cougars outshot the Dragons 23-6, including a 15-2 edge in shots on target.
Lilly Johnson and Jensen Seidel each recorded two shots for MSUM.
The Dragons are now 2-4-1 overall and 1-3-0 in NSIC play.
MSUM hosts Northern State at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3.
