The road woes continued for the Carolina Panthers on Sunday as they were routed by former UNC quarterback Drake Maye and the New England Patriots 42-13 in Foxborough.
Maye scored two passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown in the game, while Panthers quarterback and former No. 1 overall pick Bryce Young was pulled in the fourth quarter of the game.
After scoring a touchdown to start the game, the Panthers surrendered 42 unanswered points before the Panthers secured a garbage-time touchdown pass from backup quarterback Andy Dalton to tight end Mitchell Evans.
