The shooting of a nine-year-old girl as she ate ice cream was linked to a £4bn cocaine plot. ‌

The girl was shot in the head as she ate ice cream with her family outside a restaurant in Dalston, east London , in May last year. The misguided bullet remains lodged in her brain to this day. ‌

It was part of a decades-long feud between two London gangs - the Hackney Turks , also known as the Bombacilars (Bombers), and the Tottenham Turks. The spat appeared to have escalated following a fight in the 2000s that sometimes saw innocent people caught in the crossfire. ‌
