President Trump said the deadly shooting at a Mormon church in Michigan on Sunday appears to be a “targeted attack on Christians” after authorities say a man crashed his car into the church and set fire to the building.

Trump said in a post on his Truth Social platform that he's been briefed on the shooting at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) in Grand Blanc, Michigan, about 60 miles northwest of Detroit. The president called for an end to the “epidemic of violence” in the United States.
