STE. GENEVIEVE COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - The Missouri Highway Patrol troopers say a 21-year-old man died when the car he was driving hit a rock bluff near the shoulder of Interstate 55.
According to the online traffic crash report, the driver and a passenger were driving southbound on I-55 near mile marker 154 around 9:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
Troopers say the Pontiac G5 left the right side of the roadway, hit a rock bluff, and flipped over.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 21-year-old male passenger was flown to a St. Louis hospital.
