The bodies of a young girl and an adult man have been discovered at a flat in Dublin.
Police are investigating the deaths at the Heathfield estate in the Cappagh area of Finglas on Saturday.
The girl, believed to be aged six, was regularly seen at the playground opposite the flat where she was found dead by a relative.
The family, originally from Poland, had been living in Heathfield estate for some time, the Irish Examiner reported.
Ballymun-Finglas councillor Conor Reddy sent his condolences to the loved ones of those involved.
He said: ‘It’s so tragic for the community. The neighbourhood is shocked to its core. My condolences to the family and loved ones.’
