LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) - Sunshine will fill the skies around Acadiana Sunday as dry air lingers. Temperatures rise into the mid 80s by lunchtime and then upper 80s in the afternoon. A few clouds will move through as a nice northerly breeze kicks up later today to provide some air movement. Tonight, skies clear of any cloud cover and temperatures drop into the 60s.

Hurricane Humberto remains a powerful Category 4 hurricane Sunday morning, but it will begin a weakening trend from here. It will safely pass west of Bermuda as it gets absorbed into the Jet Stream and whisked out into the open Atlantic.

Tropical Depression Nine still has yet to really organize much, but it is expected to strengthen later Sunday and get the name Imelda. It will continue strengthening as it's lifted northward ove
