A new documentary has been released which delves into the disappearance of teenager Jay Slater who went missing on holiday in Tenerife last summer.

The 19-year-old, from Lancashire, was reported missing on June 17, 2024, after attending a musical festival on the Spanish island with his friends. It wasn't until July 15 that a body was found, and the following day it was identified to be Jay.

An inquest into his death began in May this year, with the coroner concluding that Jay's death was an accident, and that he died from traumatic head injuries caused by a fall in difficult, mountainous terrain.
