Dani Dyer has admitted she is 'emotional' after exiting Strictly Come Dancing due to an injury, as she shared a picture of her broken ankle.

The former Love Island winner, who is the daughter of former EastEnders star Danny Dyer, was heartbroken when she was forced to pull out of the competition just days ahead of the first live show.

She had been partnered with Nikita Kuzmin during the launch show, but later fractured her ankle during a rehearsal.

Dani was replaced by fellow Love Island winner Amber Davies, who was called 'brave' for taking on the challenge by pro Nikita as he delivered a heartfelt message to Dani during the first live show on Saturday night.
