Reds clinch the Wild Card: Here's who they'll play and when

LOS ANGELES —

The Cincinnati Reds are in the playoff field for the first time since 2020 and will have to travel across the country to open postseason play.

Clinching the No. 6 seed in the National League Sunday afternoon, the Reds will take on the No. 3 Los Angeles Dodgers in the best-of-three Wild Card series. Advertisement

The series will begin on Tuesday, with a 9:08 p.m. first pitch.

Game 2 will be played on Wednesday, also set for a 9:08 p.m. first pitch.

Both games will be broadcast on ESPN.

If a third game is necessary, it'll be played sometime on Thursday, Oct. 2. The time and broadcast details are still to be determined.
